- Nike has teamed up with The Guardian newspaper for the second phase of its 'Run London' ad campaign, which launched on national television last week.

The campaign launches on November 14 and includes the publication of a 24-page Run London guide in conjunction with a specially-created website located at www.runlondon.co.uk.

The integration of print and online media has been tailored to combine a celebration of running in the capital with an information resource to encourage people to run in the capital. It builds on the TV campaign which makes fun of Londoners who wear trendy trainers to the pub but never go running in them.

The Run London guide will feature a number of runs around London, illustrated by detailed maps, and divided by region into North, South, East, West and Central London. As well as helping runners to discover hidden green areas of London, the guide includes sections on what to eat and drink to stay healthy and safety for female runners.

Copies of the Run London guide will be given away free with The Guardian in the London area. The website will be online for 3 months.
