The 16 page standalone supplement will be given away with the paper on May 24 to complement its Society section.

The Guardian spotted a shortage in the North East in the public sector, which is a core market for the paper, and devised the supplement which will outline the benefits of life in the North East whilst carrying social service recruitment ads for the area.
