- The Guardian has added to its network of specialist websites under the Unlimited brand with the launch of Education Unlimited, a dedicated site covering the education sector.

Education Unlimited aims to be a resource for teachers, parents and higher education professionals, and has been launched in time for the clearing process and the start of the new academic year.

The site builds on the Guardian's reputation for excellent coverage of educational issues that it has developed over 25 years, with its in-depth editorial and hundreds of jobs appearing each week in the Education Guardian supplement.

The main components of Education Unlimited will be News, Jobs, Net Class, a guide to the best and most useful internet sites for teachers and parents; and EG weekly, in-depth analysis of the current issues in education; Books, reviews and online buying; and Talk, offering debate on the key education issues.

The launch of Education Unlimited is supported with a banner campaign, and advertising in the Guardian and the Observer.

Justin Walters, head of Guardian Unlimited said, "The launch of Education Unlimited lays down a marker that education is a hugely important market for us. It continues our 'inch-wide - mile deep' strategy of building category killer destination sites."
