Guardian Unlimited’s sales team has struck its third exclusive
sponsorship deal in two weeks by signing up BMW and the car brand’s most
famous convert, James Bond.
The campaign on the Film Unlimited site links coverage of Bond with the
new BMW Z8 roadster, which he drives in the film The World Is Not
All features, reviews and stories related to the film will carry BMW
buttons. A banner campaign for the Z8 will run across Film Unlimited and
other sites on the Unlimited network.
The campaign was planned by John Heather at Zenith and Guardian
Unlimited agency sales executive Andrew Moore. It is the first
integrated sponsorship BMW has carried out on the service. Guardian
Unlimited could not reveal the value of the deal.
The partnership follows last week’s announcement of exclusive deals with
coffee brand Costa and publisher HarperCollins. Costa is sponsoring the
daily news poll on News Unlimited, while HarperCollins is sponsoring the
