Gumtree continues "The neighbourhood's good" campaign with a spot promoting the platform's private motors listings.
"You don’t have to look far to find your next car," a young boy sitting on a wall says, before delivering a spoken-word poem about the everyday interactions in his neighbourhood. The cheeky boy surveys teenagers hanging out on the bonnet of a Corsa, a father struggling to whisk his girls off to judo practice, a mum enjoying a moment of peace while cleaning out her car, and finally the interaction between a buyer and a seller.
Gumtree’s "The neighbourhood’s good" campaign started in January last year. The latest instalment launches today (13 March) during Tipping Point Best Ever Finals, alongside six-second YouTube ads.
The work was written by David O’Brien, art directed by Chris Bennett and directed by Charlotte Regan through Knucklehead. Media is handled by MediaCom.
