Habito "Algorithm" by Who Wot Why

Who Wot Why made the first coded algorithm TV ad for Habito, an online mortgage broker.

The 30-second spot colourfully visualises an algorithm born from Habito’s sorting code, which is used to sift through thousands of mortgages to find the right one. The animation shows that the intelligent machine doesn’t actually care about people who need the mortgage, and that’s where a Habito broker comes in. The work was created by Sean Thompson, Matt Gooden and Ben Walker, and directed by Nexus Studios’ Nicolas Ménard, who specialises in visualising algorithms and has published a book on the subject.
