Summary of the year so far: "2014 started with our much-anticipated move to Great Titchfield Street as we started bedding in our 10 new business wins from 2013. But with others learning the design-and-build digital model of old, our clients were looking to us for something different.
We felt the market shifting: clients seemed hungry for our culture of innovation - they needed a partner capable of helping them transform into digital-first businesses.
So we are reshaping Razorfish: less 'commodity services provider' and more 'strategic partner.' This saw us promote David Parry to Managing Partner with responsibility for the innovation practice and Anders Plyhm, an award-wining CD, step up to the role of ECD.
Meanwhile, our creative product went from strength to strength. We released our shop-able YouTube channel 'All Things Hair' for Unilever – a world-first partnership between Google and multiple Unilever hair care brands – to global critical acclaim (even featuring in Keith Weed's keynote from the Cannes Lions stage and in numerous awards shows both here and abroad). We also launched multiple award-winning campaigns for our long-term partners at McDonald's.
The first half of 2014 has been busy. Razorfish is adapting. And we are laying the groundwork for an outstanding second half to 2014."
