Handbag.com builds mortgage microsite

Women's portal handbag.com has teamed up with mortgage site netmortgage to build a co-branded microsite.

The site will offer handbag.com's users access to all the mortgages available on netmortgage.co.uk, which was launched by independent mortgage broker Savills Private Finance in April.

"Handbag.com and netmortgage are seeking to tap into and service the increasing number of women who expect easy access to information to help them manage their finances and be better informed about what's on offer when taking on commitments like mortgages," said Stuart Robinson, director of netmortgage.

Netmortgage claims to offer total market coverage to all lenders and their products via an online assistant called Eva (Electronic Virtual Assistant).

"Handbag.com aims to be the most useful site for women online in the UK and a mortgage search facility matches perfectly the type of content our visitors enjoy using," said Sheila Sang, director of handbag.com.
