Harvey Nichols to stage one-day Italian-themed festival

Peroni, Disaronno and Martini are among brands activating at Ciao Britalia, a one-day Italian-themed festival curated by department store Harvey Nichols.

Taking place on 12 November at its Knightsbridge, London store, Ciao Britalia is an all-day celebration of Italian culture, dedicated to the finest fashion, beauty, food and drink. The event, which runs from 10am to 8pm, will include live music, mini masterclasses and tastings. 

Beer brand Peroni will be running a complimentary pop-up bar within the store's lower ground floor, while on the ground floor, Armani will stage a series of make-up masterclasses. Complimentary cocktail masterclasses will be available from Italian liqueur brand Disaronno, while Martini will stage aperitif masterclasses. Coffee brand Illy will provide coffee tin personalisation, while a number of fashion brands including Missoni, Donna Ida and Vianel, will offer styling sessions alongside monograming and customisation. 

The Ciao Britalia event is part of Harvey Nichols' wider Britalia campaign, which was announced last month. This includes a series of partnerships, events, installations, window displays and tastings running across all the retailer's stores in the UK and Ireland as well as seven international stores. 

Harvey Nichols has also teamed with luxury outdoor apparel brand Canada Goose to stage an immersive rooftop cinema experience.
