Heineken has invested £64 million in an integrated campaign ahead of the release of the new James Bond film, Spectre.
That’s more than it has put into sponsoring the 2015 Rugby World Cup. The campaign – the last to be created by Wieden & Kennedy Amsterdam – begins with a global TV and cinema spot in which a young woman is unwittingly mixed up in a speedboat chase with Bond and ends up helping 007 foil the villains. Heineken claims that it is the only Spectre sponsor to run an ad with Daniel Craig as Bond. The work was written by Thierry Albert, art directed by Faustin Claverie and directed by Tom Kuntz through MJZ.
