Hinchcliffe takes group marketing role at CHI

Christian Hinchcliffe is to join Clemmow Hornby Inge as the group marketing director.

He joins from McCann Erickson London, where he was the marketing director. He was also a managing partner on McCann's Xbox account.

In his new role, he will run new business for the CHI group, including the direct marketing division, Hall Moore CHI, and Naked Inside. He will also run the Talk Talk account and is expected to have a similar role on AOL if, as widely predicted, the account arrives following the Carphone Warehouse's acquisition of the internet service provider last week.

The CHI founding partner Johnny Hornby said: "Our group approach is working well across the majority of our clients. Christian's job is to promote our one-agency offer to the right new clients. He's a fantastic talent."

Hinchcliffe added: "CHI is passionate about shaking up the traditional ad agency model. To be part of that will be incredibly exciting."

Hinchcliffe fills the gap left by the departure of Ben Slater, who quit to join Bartle Bogle Hegarty New York as its new-business director in August.
