Honda is famous for its UK advertising, but this Australian spot proves that it is willing to take brave steps in other markets too. The campaign, by Foote Cone & Belding, promotes the new Honda Civic and its sense of having a great finish with an ad that shows it driving through a world were everything else is unfinished. The car is shown travelling past unfinished buildings, zebra crossings, street signs and a baby in a frame-work stroller. The unfinished world is completed as the Civic passes an unfinished sports field with a frame-work billboard in the background. The spot ends on the line "The new generation Civic. Nothing else feels as finished."
