Honda F1 in hunt for top marketer

Honda Racing F1 is seeking a marketing director to promote its environmental sponsorship model 'My earth dream', replacing Alistair Watkins, who is leaving the motor sports team.

Earlier this year, Honda F1 launched the sponsorship initiative in collaboration with Simon Fuller's 19 Entertainment. The scheme encourages brands and individuals to make a donation to an environmental charity of their choice in exchange for a pixel making up an image of the earth on the Honda Racing F1 cars' livery.

The team is aiming to recruit a senior marketer with either sports or consumer brand experience. Watkins is taking a job at Swiss America's Cup team Alinghi.
