Hook will report to Vizeum's managing director, Grant Millar, and will replace the former joint managing director, Matt Andrews, who left the agency in July to join Mother as a strategy director.
The new unit, titled the Jump Team, comprises a team of strategists and aims to further integrate the role of digital expertise and data and insight resources within the agency.
Vizeum has recruited a number of senior strategists in preparation for the launch to report to Hook, including Patrick Affleck, hired in July from Profero, who will head up digital strategy.
