Hostmark appoints Leagas Delaney for branding campaign

The internet hosting company Hostmark has appointed Leagas Delaney

for its launch into the UK and Sweden.

The agency is working with the design consultancy The Partners to

develop a brand name and identity for Hostmark and is due to launch the

first campaign within the next month in the national business press and

newspapers.

Hostmark specialises in managing e-businesses for other companies,

acting as a consultancy in the first instance, and then offering

full-service management. It is rolling out a number of operating centres

across Europe with backing from the US company The Sturm Group.

The above-the-line account is worth pounds 2.5 million, with additional

marketing activity taking the launch spend to pounds 5 million. Leagas

Delaney's managing director, Justin Bairamian, said this would rise to

pounds 10 million when the company expands into other European

territories.

Hiring Leagas Delaney is part of a wider strategy to become a market

leader within the business sector, according to Hostmark's

vice-president of sales and marketing, Nicholas Jeffrey.

'Our aspirations are to be the leading added value web hosting service

provider and I believe Leagas Delaney is the ideal partner to help us

realise our objectives,' he said.

Media planning and buying will be by Leagas Delaney.
