HOTLINE: Adam Singer quits as chief executive of Telewest

Adam Singer has quit as the chief executive of Telewest. Singer, who took the job of chief executive in April 2000, was ousted after the chairman, Cob Stenham, said Telewest needed somebody with a different management style at the top.
