HOTLINE: The ASA upholds complaint from Tesco

The Advertising Standards Authority has upheld a complaint from Tesco over a Woolworths press campaign, which listed eight confectionery, crisp and soft-drink products, claiming: "We're up to 30 per cent cheaper than Tesco." The ASA agreed the ad was misleading because it implied that Woolworths was cheaper on all of those product lines.
