Hotline: Carat and MediaCom shortlisted for pitch

The Aegis-owned Carat and WPP's MediaCom have been shortlisted to pitch for the estimated £100 million consolidated Universal Music pan-European media planning and buying account.

MediaCom handles the £24 million UK portion of the business. The agencies will now enter the final round of the pitch process, which kicked off in January this year.
