Hotline: Channel 4 to make redundancies

Channel 4 is to make 150 people redundant from its 1,000 workforce as part of a plan for cost savings of £100 million over two years.

The broadcaster said that the job losses, in addition to a £25 million cut in programming budget and a further £25 million saved from marketing and new-media overheads, were in response to falling ad revenues.
