Hotline: Chime boosts profits

Chime Communications' advertising and marketing services division, which includes VCCP and SFW, has boosted its annual operating profits by 52 per cent year on year to £6.4 million. Advertising and marketing operating income climbed 16 per cent to £46.5 million after new client wins, including Saga, Carling and easyJet. The division accounted for one-quarter of Chime's £25.5 million operating profit for 2011 (up 15.4 per cent on 2010).
