Hotline: Coca-Cola agrees with the European Commission

Coca-Cola has agreed with the European Commission not to force retailers into exclusivity deals. The company will have to reduce the incentives it offers retailers to stock only Coca-Cola products and will also have to give up 20 per cent of the space in Coca-Cola-branded fridges to rival products. In return, an inquiry into Coca-Cola's sales practices will be halted (Feature, p28).
