HOTLINE: Following his resignation from BSkyB Tony Ball signs deal

Following his resignation as the chief executive of BSkyB, Tony Ball has signed a deal that precludes him from working for any rival broadcaster. He will now act as a consultant across News Corporation's TV interests. Shareholders are demanding that his resignation should not be an excuse for a James Murdoch shoo-in as replacement (Media, p11).
