Hotline: Gap appoints Ogilvy & Mather

Gap has appointed Ogilvy & Mather to its global ad account, ending its ten-year relationship with the previous incumbent, Laird & Partners.

The move comes as Gap, which spends just £200,000 on media in the UK, announced the appointment of Seth Farbman, Ogilvy's worldwide managing director, as its first chief marketing officer.
