Hotline: Guardian Media Group's profits rise

Guardian Media Group's profits rose to £306.4 million in the year to the end of March.

This compared with £97.7 million the year before, and was due to the sale of Trader Media Group. Guardian News & Media, which publishes The Guardian, The Observer and, saw its operating losses increase to £24.9 million from £15.9 million the previous year.
