Hotline: HMV to launch social networking site

HMV has said it will launch a social networking site for fans of music, film and games as part of plans to develop new revenue channels. The site will have opportunities for advertising, sponsorship and paid-for content. The retailer is also planning to launch a loyalty card this year.
