Hotline: The IAB launches industry standards for online video ads

The Internet Advertising Bureau is launching industry standards for online video advertising.

Its list of key recommendations include that video ads should be 15 seconds or less, widescreen and have a specified dimension size. The guidelines are being introduced in a bid to increase effectiveness of video clips and to provide media owners with standard formats.
