HOTLINE: IPA names e-commerce and new-media consultant

The IPA has named Nigel Gwilliam as its first e-commerce and new-media consultant. A former senior media planner at Leo Burnett, he joins after completing an assignment for the Periodical Publishers Association. Hamish Pringle, the trade body's director-general, said Gwilliam's task would be to extend the profile of new media and e-commerce within the IPA and to ensure their integration into all its current programmes.
