HOTLINE: ISBA has written to MP

ISBA has written to Douglas Alexander MP, the UK e-commerce

minister, to express advertisers' extreme concern over European Union

proposals that would define internet cookies - data packages containing

username information - as personal data, effectively forcing users to

give "prior explicit consent" every time a cookie was served to their

internet browser.
