HOTLINE: The ITC asks BSkyB and BBC to help save DTT

The Independent Television Commission has asked BSkyB and the BBC to help save digital terrestrial television (DTT) in the event of ITV Digital's closure. The Government is keen for DTT to survive to enable it to switch off and sell off the analogue frequencies by 2010. ITV Digital's administrators have until Monday to save the troubled platform.
