HOTLINE: ITV announces financial results

ITV has announced that, in its results for the 15 months to the end of last year, earnings before interest, taxes and amortisation would have been £222 million if the two companies had been combined for the full period. Overall, ITV said advertising revenues were down 2 per cent. The company is also on track to make the £100 million savings promised by the chief executive, Charles Allen.
