Massimo Costa, the chief executive of Lowe Lintas Italy, has been appointed as the chairman and chief executive of Y&R Group, Italy. Costa's hiring is the first appointment to be made by William Eccleshare, the chairman and chief executive of Y&R Europe, the Middle East and Africa, who joined recently from McKinsey & Company.
