Hotline: Mortimer Whittaker O'Sullivan declines to repitch

Mortimer Whittaker O'Sullivan has declined to repitch for the £40 million Direct Line account it has held for the past eight years, leaving Clemmow Horby Inge, Ogilvy & Mather, Burkitt DDB and WCRS to contest the business. Tim Mortimer, MWO's managing partner, said the agency would stand by work already presented. He denied its future was threatened by the loss of the business although it might have to shed up to four jobs.
