Hotline: Nationwide BS undertakes benchmarking exercise

The Nationwide Building Society is undertaking a benchmarking exercise in conjunction with the Haystack Group. Peter Gandolfi, Nationwide's head of brand marketing, said: "We are looking at how we can get more value from our agencies. This could result in the appointment of a lead communications agency to work across all agencies." Gandolfi added that Nationwide's media agency, Mediaedge:cia, was unaffected by the process.
