Grey Worldwide has split with Marconi less than two months after

its agencies in London and New York were appointed to handle the

UK-based technology giant's pounds 35 million global corporate campaign.

Steve Blamer, the chief executive of Grey in New York, said: 'We decided

to withdraw because we could not agree terms.' Grey won the business in

February after pitching against Bates Worldwide.
