Hotline: Omnicom increases its post-tax profits

Omnicom has increased its fourth-quarter post-tax profits by 13.2 per cent to $313.9 million (£159.83 million).

Revenues for the quarter rose by 12.7 per cent to $3.6 million. The company has also acquired a majority stake in the New Zealand-based digital agency Shift. The agency, whose expertise is in web strategy and design, will be aligned with TBWA, Tequila and Agency.com.
