Hotline: Omnicom's net income increases

Omnicom's net income increased by 14.2 per cent to $202.2 million in the third quarter, but worries about the company's vulnerability to an economic slowdown caused its share price to drop by 2 per cent.

Third-quarter international revenue increased by 17.2 per cent to $1.45 billion, while domestic US revenue was up by 7.4 per cent to $1.67 billion. Overall, worldwide revenue rose 11.8 per cent to $3.1 billion.
