Hotline: Outdoor industry reports fall in advertising spend

The outdoor industry reported a 19.3 per cent year-on-year fall in advertising spend in the first quarter of 2009, according to Outdoor Advertising Association figures.

Total revenue fell to £178 million and roadside dropped to under 50 per cent of the total market, as retail, point-of-sale and transport sectors increased their share. Perspective, page 12.
