Hotline: The Star Alliance shortlists five agencies

The Star Alliance has shortlisted five agencies to pitch for the direct marketing account for its international frequent-flyer programme that links into its members' own loyalty schemes. The organisation, whose members include bmi and Lufthansa, is understood to have shortlisted EHS Brann, Draft, FCBi and Harrison Troughton Wunderman. The organisation has also consolidated its global media buying into WPP's Group M.
