HOTLINE: Treasury-ordered inquiry casts doubt

A Treasury-ordered inquiry by the former NatWest chief, Derek Wanless, has cast doubt on the effectiveness of the Government's multimillion-pound campaigns on public health issues. He said ads should be more carefully researched and targeted to compete with "sophisticated" campaigns for unhealthy products such as junk food.
