Hotline: UK internet adspend tipped to exceed newspaper advertising

UK internet adspend is tipped to exceed newspaper advertising by the end of the year, according to figures from the Internet Advertising Bureau. Adspend on digital campaigns rose by 40 per cent in the first half of this year to £917.2 million. The internet currently has a 10.5 per cent adspend market share, compared with 11.4 per cent for national papers.
