Hotline: William Hill ad banned by the ASA

An ad for William Hill, which featured a woman tricking her husband into leaving for work early so that she could play online bingo, has been banned by the Advertising Standards Authority for encouraging those addicted to gambling to conceal their addiction.

The ASA also warned John Lewis about making misleading claims about a bracelet's health benefits after an ad for Trion:Z bracelets claimed they created a boost in the body's magnetic field, resulting in greater health and wellbeing.
