Allied Irish Bank, the republic's biggest, has invited three agencies to compete against its incumbent shop, McConnell, for the creative assignment on its pounds 4 million account. Ogilvy & Mather in Dublin, DDFH&B, the Irish arm of J. Walter Thompson, and Cawley Nea are also involved in the pitch, which is being co-ordinated by Agency Assessments International.
