Paul Keenan, the chief executive of the Emap Elan Network, has been
given the new role of chief executive of Emap Digital with
responsibility for the group’s global online activities. Barry
McIlheney, managing director of FHM, will take over as chief executive
of the Emap Elan Network.
Hawkeye Communications, the global marketing services network set up by
the former chairman and chief executive of Rapp Collins Worldwide,
Steven Dapper, has acquired FFwd, one of the last remaining UK
independent direct marketing agencies.
Mustoe Merriman Herring Levy and Optimedia have picked up the pounds 1
million launch account of freeloader.com, the free website for video
games. Freeloader.com is being launched by Pure Entertainment, a games
developer for both the PC and console markets.
Paul Chard is joining MediaCom TMB to head its new sponsorship and
programming division which will launch in the early summer. Chard is
vice-president of marketing for Viacom-owned channel Show Time. At
Mediacom he will be a board director and work with the agency’s in-house
