As the UK remains housebound, Huawei brings customers on "sonic escapes" across the globe.
Recorded last year using binaural technology, three audio pieces take listeners on immersive getaways to Jamaica, Mexico and Morocco. People can hear the sounds of the jungle, the sea, a busy souk in Marrakech, vibrant Tulum and so on – escaping momentarily from the chaos and uncertainty of everyday life during a pandemic.
The work is intended to be played via Huawei’s FreeBuds Pro, which have a 360 circumference of sound for an "immersive audio experience".
The campaign launched alongside colourful outdoor ads.
In June, Huawei launched a print campaign as part of a fightback to retain its role as a provider of 5G mobile networks in the UK.
