Van Bockel is as ebullient as the brand for which he has overseen marketing for seven years. His past year has been defined by high-octane achievements across events, stunts and content creation. This summer’s Red Bull Air Race at Ascot attracted a 52,000-strong crowd, while ‘Red Bull Revolutions in Sound’ was a cool and imaginative celebration of UK dance culture. On the night, each pod of the London Eye was taken over by a legendary nightclub, with content from all 31 pods streamed simultaneously. It trended all night on Twitter and was viewed by 1m people.
