Ex-Loaded editor James Brown’s venture I Feel Good has poached Emap

Metro client services director Anna Hyde to be its ad director.

She is now recruiting a sales team. ’I’m looking for people with

individual flair who are unconventional, innovative and have a good

sense of humour,’ said Hyde.

I Feel Good has yet to reveal its plans but Brown indicated they will

include content provision for other media, as well as his own publishing

and e-commerce ventures. He intends to launch four magazines over the

next two years in the consumer lifestyle area.

Hyde spent nine years at Emap Metro and was recently appointed client

services director. She started as a sales executive on Smash Hits,

moving into a number of management positions on Metro titles such as

Sky, Select and Mixmag.

Hyde is renowned for her creative solutions, such as putting Select in a

cornflakes box full of sponsor’s goodies.

She was recently responsible for a Budweiser spread in Sky which

provided stickers of frogs and lizards for readers to create their own

montage of the TV commercial.

’My brief is to generate revenue from a range of sources and media,’

said Hyde. ’We are also up for brand consultancy arrangements.’
