- peoplesound.com, a website carrying recordings of unsigned music talent, has awarded its online media planning and buying account to the new media agency, Hyperlink.
The first campaign, breaking this week, is aimed at attracting new artists and bands to sign up to peoplesound.com.
peoplesound.com is a UK internet start-up that carries music from new bands. It is designed to bring artists and talent scouts together, improving the selection process that record labels use to sign new acts.
In addition consumers can use peoplesound.com to build their own collection of the latest music completely free of charge.
The first banner campaign will run on sites including NME, dotmusic, Music 365, Ministry of Sound, Q online as well as MusiciansNet and Computer Music.
Martin Turner, chief operating officer of peoplesound.com, said: "We chose Hyperlink because their detailed tracking of campaign success adds real value to our marketing strategy. Every morning we can see which sites are pushing the highest quality visitors to our site, namely those that sign up to peoplesound.com, which enables us to have a very dynamic approach to advertising."
