Cranna has a background in retail – four years at BHS and as head of trading at Habitat. At Starbucks, he oversees all marketing and category management across 2000 stores in 34 countries. He is defined by a strategic, ‘get things done’ attitude to work, with a constant focus on putting the customer first. He joined Starbucks nearly 11 years ago. In January, his role was expanded beyond the UK to cover EMEA, following the departure of Danielle Davies (formerly Crook) and he is focused on building the business, overseeing the creation of a regional team across five countries. Starbucks has a reputation for pioneering innovation: its My Starbucks Rewards mobile loyalty scheme, which allows consumers to pay for their coffee using their smartphone, has proved a massive success. Cranna is an avid tweeter, with a feed that is distinctly coffee-flavoured.
