IBM names six interactive agencies

- IBM has appointed six agencies to its estimated $41 million (£25 million) global interactive account, following a lengthy reivew that involved around 100 shops.

Lead agency status has gone to Ogilvy Interactive in New York, which also retains online media buying duties.

The five other US agencies appointed are Modem Media.Poppe Tyson, R/GA Interactive and Think New Ideas, Strategic Interactive Group and Studio Archetype.

The six were all incumbents on an IBM roster that had previously included around 60 companies. Also on the shortlist were CKS Group and Brand Dialogue, Young & Rubicam's interactive arm.
