Ideal Home scoops consumer prize at publishing awards

Ideal Home magazine won the award for consumer magazine of the year at the Periodical Publishers Association’s awards this week.

Ideal Home magazine won the award for consumer magazine of the year

at the Periodical Publishers Association’s awards this week.



The award caps a remarkable turnaround for the IPC title since its

relaunch last September.



Rufus Olins, the editor-in-chief of Management Today and Anne Brayton,

the title’s art director, were named editor and designer of the year

respectively.



Wallpaper picked up the award for international magazine of the year,

while Computer Weekly won the title for best business and professional

magazine.



Individual trophies went to Elle’s Fiona McIntosh for consumer magazine

editor of the year and Marie Claire’s Rita Lewis for consumer publisher

of the year.



IT Week’s Emma Roffey was named business publisher of the year at the

awards ceremony.
